The lens can expand the field of view by up to 1.33x and "burn" more detail onto the matrix for a wide cinematic image, HD 2.4:1.This popular cinematography that makes the audience feel as if they are actually present in the relevant scene.The lens also allows you to achieve a cinematic effect, creating an impressive blue tint and a poetic oval bokeh effect. The optical structure consists of 13 elements in 10 groups coated with nanoparticles. The glass is produced in the well-known German Schott glass factory. In addition, the optical design of this lens minimizes distortion and 'breathing' (change in focal length during warning) to ensure razor-sharp cinematography. Together with the octagonal lens, a poetic oval bokeh effect is created, adding an extra dimension to recorded images. Due to the unique way light diffuses in an anamorphic subject, the glass allows you to get blue light on horizontal film while reducing stray light and creating background effects. This compact and robust lens is made from aviation aluminum alloy used. It's 126mm long and weighs 780g (with Sony E-mount).The focus ring is really smooth and allows for a range of 189.6 degrees of adjustment.
